Devolution Conference kicks off.

Earlier today, government delegates congregated in Kakamega for a devolution congress. This initiative is to gauge the progress of devolution in the country since its flagship. Even though Kenyans awaited this event with very high expectations, the conference began on a rather low note.

Nevertheless, that should not determine upcoming advancements of the ongoing conference. Personally, I think that the path Kenya is taking is positively developmental. I don’t mean to brag but at least we get a chance to grade the government on its work.

I have to indicate though, that It is still too early to present my verdict on devolution in Kenya. I still have to keep an eye on the conference and analyse the final result.

Tell me what you think about this conference, what your expectations are and any other comment you have in regard to Devcon.

Till later whisperers,

Ciao.
